I played in a somewhat similar way to you where I didn't kill someone if I thought they would have value to me later (which is kind of an extension of my Bounty Hunter that I finished just before the Consular).

The more I think about it based on the responses, the more I'm starting to realize that the character I played is mostly an extension of the Consular I finished immediately before (which I'm kind of OK with, since, according to my Legacy, they're Force sensitive sisters that were separated at birth).

I think enjoyment of the various class stories can change based on how involved you make yourself, and the choices you make along the way. Getting to turn a Jedi to the dark side was perfect. My SW reveled in showing Jedi that they weren't better or stronger than Sith just because they followed a different code. Poking them so they turned away from the light. My Sith Warrior was rewarding people who served well, and dispensing punishment to those who try and screw her over. Of course, I could bend this rule as I did on Alderaan when I killed everyone else except for the one person I agreed not to harm. When I made a promise not to kill someone, I kept it. I played my Jugg as an honorable dark sider. I mean, half the fun of playing a Sith is being able to get away with killing people. I mean, if you didn't kill Jedi, you probably made a lot of Light Side choices. Maybe you should have tried playing more Dark Side.
