Personally, I like making a folder of shortcuts to ALL installed dlls and make a folder in that for Live of only the dlls I use. So try to make it so you don’t need to move them once installed either by installing consistently or by creating shortcuts. Sometimes moving dlls around can Break a vst and make it unusable. You can do this (once you find the dll) by copying it, then going to your desired directory and right clicking to select ‘paste as shortcut’. I recommend installing all plug ins into the same directory, or if you use a default directory, not to move the dll but to create a ‘shortcut’ to the dll in a directory. I would suggest reinstalling the software and seeing if you’ve installed the vst plug in.
